Cases of epididymitis

Abstract
|
|
|
The three patients were admitted to the word with the chief complaints of pain on the scrotum and hard enlargement of epididymis to June from January 1966. These cases are summarized as follows.
Case I; Well nourished 24 yrs old man has Complained of hard mass of pt scrotum since 20 days ago patient under went the epididymectomy under the impression. of testicular tumor.
Histological finaling is chronic granulomatous active inflammation in epididymis. Patient was treated with the autituberculous drug postoperatively.
Case U; Relatively poor-nourished 23 yrs old man has complained of. pain and enlargement of Lt scrotum since 2 months ago.
Because of ill-response for antibiotic pt underwent the operation for biopsy on the 7th day after admission.
Histological finding is acute suppurative inflammation. Patient was treated with antibiotics and steroid therapy.
Case III; Well nourished,21 yrs old man has complained of the hard mass of Lt scrotum since 8months ago.
Patient underwent the epididymectomy under. impression of the tuberculous epididymitis and it is compatible to histological finding. He .was treated with antituberculous drug.
